One of my first projects was to tackle the grout in the master and guest bathrooms. The grout was a nasty brown and no matter how many different Pinterest tips and tricks I tried I could not get it to be white or even look clean for that matter. After a little investigating I found this AMAZING stuff called Grout Renew at Home Depot. For around $12 bucks I thought I would give it a try.
We bought the color ‘bright white’….they have a bunch of different colors to choose from as well. I believe the bottle says to use a toothbrush to apply, but I needed something smaller. I bought some tiny paint brushes like these from Home Depot (After completing I read on the Home Depot website to take the lid of an Elmer’s glue bottle and screw it directly onto the grout renew bottle and do it that way). I have no clue if this would work, but might be worth a try!
I cleaned the floor of the bathroom one more time before I got on my hands and knees and began painting the grout renew into the existing grout on the floor. I would put it on the grout and then just wipe off any that got on the actual tile as I went along. It took a little bit of time to do, but the end result turned out AMAZING and I would highly recommend it. My floors look brand new…not to mention super clean.
