A few months ago Curtis and I moved into our dream home. We’ve always talked about living out in the country, on a piece of land, so when we decided to take the leap and start looking we stumbled upon pretty much everything we ever dreamed of. We both think it was meant to be—the house only had a few pictures online and didn’t even come up when we put in our criteria in MLS. Curtis just happened to find it on a map and we set up a time to go see it the next day. Driving out to the house we loved everything about the area. The rolling hills, the corn fields, the smell—-just everything felt right. We were a little fearful when our Realtor told us it’s usually not a good sign when there are so few photo’s online, but when we walked in we were in complete love with it. We thought on it and eventually decided to make the jump and put an offer in on it. We put our house up for sale (it sold in 2 weeks) and our offer on the new house was accepted all on the same day!! We were so excited we couldn’t stand it. We packed, rented a U haul, and with some help, we got all our stuff moved.
Here’s just a few pictures of our house and property!
We love having 5.5 acres and love exploring our property. Stay tuned for posts of what we did on the inside of the house!
